Swing Workshop mit Bill Borgida – The Master of the Swing Out – am 13.08. und 14.08.2007 in der Academia, Sonnemannstraße 3 in Frankfurt am Main.

Am Montag, den 13.08.2007, 20.00 bis 23.00 Uhr, wird „Lindy Hop Technik – besser tanzen“ gelehrt. Dabei geht es darum, zu einem besseren Tänzer zu werden. Anhand von einigen neuen Schritten werden die wirklich für das Lindy Hop wichtigen tänzerischen Aspekte wie Verbindung mit dem Partner, Balance, Frame, seinen Mittelpunkt zu gebrauchen und ähnliches unterrichtet. Das hilft dir zukünftig mehr Dynamic und Kreativität beim Tanzen hineinzubringen.

Am Dienst, den 14.08.2007, 20.00 bis 23.00 Uhr, wird der Swing Out auseinander genommen, und zwar so, dass der Schritt sowohl besser aussieht und sich besser anfühlt. Wenn einer den Swing Out wirklich erklären und auseinander nehmen kann, dann ist es Bill. Auch für jemanden, der schon seit Jahren Lindy Hop tanzt, ist dieser Kurs äußerst hilfreich, um einen noch besseren Swing Out zu tanzen. An diesem Abend werden auch Tips für die Verbindung mit der Partner und sehr coole Schrittvariationen beigebracht.

Beide Abende sind für alle Niveaus gedacht. Voraussetzung ist allerdings, dass du den Swing Out, den Lindy Circle und den Charleston als Schritte beherrschst.

Es wird genug Gelegenheit zu Pausen und zum Üben eingeräumt.

"Lindy Hop - dancing better, not more"
This class will focus on the LH technique that helps make you a better, more natural dancer.
While some moves will be taught, the most important aspects of technique will be emphasized - partner connection, balance, posture, frame, using your center. This will push you to the next level to create a more dynamic, spontaneous social dance.

Monday, 14th of August, 8 to 11 pm
"Swing Out Technique - making your basic shine! "
here's a description:
This class will focus on making the Swingout look and feel good. Your dancing is only as good as your basics. This is what really makes the dance work! And Bill really knows how to break it down. Even if you've been dancing for years, this class will give you an opportunity to take a deeper look at your swing out.
The class will also include tips on connection and some cool variations.


Both nights should be ALL levels. But the min. level is comfortable with swing outs, lindy circle, some charleston.
There will be breaks and time for guided practice.
